Home Farm

Masseria RuotoloMasseria Ruòtolo – a farm at 450 metres a.s.l., surrounded by woods of Macedonian and Downy oak in the Murgia region, near Bari – aims at being a destination for people-oriented tourism that has a deep bond with the natural environment.

Every season is lovely in its own way and “the fragrances of rosemary and sage are in the air”. On foot or on horseback, in a horse-drawn carriage and during outings to discover the unspoilt natural environment, you will be surrounded by the colours and light that are unique to the enchanted Murgia region...

Antonella, Luciano and Marcella live on the farm all year round and run this family business, which is linked to local gastronomy traditions, to respecting the environment and to preserving peasant culture and farming in the Murgia region. Visitors can try and buy good wine and lots of organic products from the farm.

Hospitality and welcoming visitors are a sacred duty - the recently renovated rooms and flats in the XIX century farm, the XVIII century “lamia” and the historical peasant dwellings have every modern comfort. Great care has been taken to provide disabled people with suitable accommodation and activities.

A week-end, a dinner with friends, the happiest and most important time of your life, holidays spent here will become cherished memories.
